The Beauty and The Charm of New York City
We all heard about The Big Apple. New York, also named New York City, to be distinguished from the state New York, is one of the most popular and visited cities of the United States of America. It has been, and still is the favorite place for immigrants.
As many other big cities in USA, New York is divided in more sectors. It consists of Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island, and of course, the core of the New York City, Manhattan. Each of these sectors has its own culture and administration. The place you live and your job tell the new-yorkers who you really are. Ellis Island has been an opened gate for millions of immigrants all around the world. Nowadays, The Statue of Liberty stands as a symbol of democracy. Also, New York is considered to be the place where Uncle Sam (the nickname for the typical citizen of the USA) was born. New York City is quite an amazing place, and sometimes its citizens call it a dream of the American life. The sky-scrapers, the Philharmonic, Bronx- the heart of jazz and the Museum of Natural History tell everything about the charm of this spectacular city.
Times Square, Fifth Avenue and Wall Street are some addresses of New York that are famous all around the globe. Times Square is mostly famous for the neon billboards and also for the numerous theaters that lie there. Also, you can find there the most popular newspaper: the New York Times.
Another attraction of this great city is the Central Park. This park is unique, and the envy of all other cities. It is so spectacular because it is situated right in the middle of the city. It has more playgrounds where people of all ages can spend some really quality time, fishing, jogging, sunbathing or just relaxing.
A few years ago, a tragically event happened there. It is of course about September 11th 2001, when thousands of people lost their lives. After that moment, New York is the symbol of communication among its citizens. But now New York is a safe place.
So, if you ever think about taking a vacation or going abroad, New York is a perfect place to go. You can find a place to visit at any hour of the day. The services and the hotels are excellent, and you can find one to fit any budget.
